After root canal treatment, your tooth may be extra sensitive for 1-2 days. If this becomes painful, feel free to take painkillers. Cataflam or Donalgin are best, but any over-the-counter pain reliever will do. Your complaints should subside within a few days, but your bite sensitivity may remain for a long time.

If the temporary filling placed in the tooth has completely fallen out, clean your teeth thoroughly with a toothbrush after meals, use mouthwash and visit your doctor as soon as possible.

However, strong, throbbing, stretching pain, swelling around the tooth or on the face may occur during any phase of the root canal treatment. In this case, be sure to visit our clinic.
